The BAKFlip F1 is a top-tier hard-folding tonneau cover by BAK®. It boasts a sleek, low-profile design, simple bolt-on installation for DIY enthusiasts, and exceptional resistance to impact, theft, and moisture.
The BAKFlip F1 looks similar to BAK’s popular BAKFlip G2, but it has a significant difference: it uses high-density foam-core panels instead of the G2’s solid-core aluminum panels.
While it retains aluminum lower skins, the BAKFlip F1 uses durable FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) top skins. These panels are not only visually appealing with their glossy textured finish, but they also offer high impact resistance thanks to their rigid high-density foam core. The panels are also remarkably robust, supporting up to 400 pounds of evenly distributed weight.
This cover features high-quality aluminum side rails for added strength and easy clamp-on installation. This design enhances security by automatically latching into the aluminum side rails when closed, preventing thieves from prying the cover’s sides to gain entry to the truck bed.
If you’re more concerned about weather than theft, the BAKFlip F1 has you covered—literally. Wrap-around perimeter seals prevent moisture from seeping between the cover and bed rails, keeping your cargo clean and dry. If water does manage to get past the seals, the cover’s integrated drainage system funnels it out of the bed through strategically placed drain tubes.
The BAKFlip F1 sports a unique, ultra-low-profile design that sits almost flush with your truck’s bed rails. Viewed from the side, the cover practically disappears.
Operating the BAKFlip F1 is quick and easy. Simply drop the tailgate, release the rear latches, and fold the F1 toward the bulkhead to expose two-thirds of your truck bed. Once the panels are stacked, secure the cover with the integrated buckle straps, and you’re ready to drive. For full bed access, fold the cover toward the window and secure it with the integrated prop rods.
